At twenty-two years old, aspiring musician Sydney Blake has a great life: She’s in college, working a steady job, in love with her wonderful boyfriend, Hunter, and rooming with her good friend, Tori. But everything changes when she discovers Hunter cheating on her with Tori—and she is left trying to decide what to do next.
Sydney becomes captivated by her mysterious neighbor, Ridge Lawson. She can’t take her eyes off him or stop listening to the daily guitar playing he does out on his balcony. She can feel the harmony and vibrations in his music. And there’s something about Sydney that Ridge can’t ignore, either: He seems to have finally found his muse. When their inevitable encounter happens, they soon find themselves needing each other in more ways than one…

Things that I like:
1. I love the writing style. Ms CH surely has incredible talent on writing scenes with ease. Idk how many authors could do that. I just kept reading the story with no thought of stopping until the end.
2. Contrary to other reviewers, I love Sydney. I love her honesty to her feelings. I love her character and honestly, if given a chance, I want to be her best friend.
3. I also love Mggie. If I would have to choose who to save between Syd, Ridge and Maggie, I would definitely choose this girl..
Things I didn't like:
1. Argh. I hate LOVE TRIANGLES!!! Jeez... no matter how good the other guy/girl is, I hate it.
2. I don't like Ridge. Really, you could have learned points from Dean or something. GROW A FREAKING BACKBONE!!! guys and their excuses are making me mad.
3. I was disappointed with the ending. I don't think Ridge deserves Sydney or Maggie. I've never dislike the hero before, so this is really new to me. I would rather that Sydney had relationship with someone who would make her his first choice, you know?
This might be the only COHO book that rubbed me the wrong way and Ridge might be the lowest book boyfriend on my list, right now (if he's even in the list). I did cry though. Cried out of frustration and pity for Sydney. Seriously girl, you deserve better.
I'm gonna review Ugly Love next...
